He was very open and honest and we liked where there would be no third party involved in taking care of our problem. He explained everything in detail and we were able to understand what he was thing. Very friendly and very professional. He said if we had any any other questions just call his number on his card and he would try and answer our questions. I meet with Mike C. to obtain a quote to address water leakage into the basement from rain and foundation issues caused by years of water inundation. Also, to get a quote to seal up the crawl space. (The house has a half-basement.) He arrived early in a clean company vehicle and in uniform. Very pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and down-to-earth. His inspection of the areas of concern took some time because he was so very thorough. Once completed with the inspection, he presented various options, and we discussed each option. Seems his concern was more about what was best for my situation rather than profit. I really appreciated that. I predict the construction phase will be very good; based upon the interaction with Mike C.

In February 2026, we contacted Groundwork’s with concerns about the stability of our home. Our floors were sagging, we had a large crack in our Living Room floor and hallway. We were also having trouble with mold and mildew. First, Groundwork’s Eric Reeder came to our home and inspected inside and out. Eric explained clearly what our structural issues were and how Groundwork’s could help. He also explained how crawl space encapsulation and a dehumidifier could help our mold and mildew problems. Eric was very professional and made us feel at ease. We were relieved that there were solutions to our homes issues. In March 2026, Joseph Bailey and his Groundwork’s team; Chris, Bryce and C.J. Basham came to install the needed structural support for our home, as well as encapsulating our crawl space and installing a dehumidifier. They were so professional, polite and friendly. Joseph patiently answered all of our questions, and explained about the work they would be performing. Joseph and his crew installed a floor support system in our crawl space to stop our floors from sagging, restoring stability to our home. They encapsulated our crawl space leaving it bright and clean. When the job was completed, Joseph and his team cleared all debris and left everything tidy. The work they performed has been such a relief. We have invested in the value of our home, and we are so glad we called Groundwork’s!

Caesar Goodman was a delight and super informative in helping me make an informed decision on what to do with my ground floor. He answered all my questions and concerns effectively and patiently. Cesar is a great asset to Basement Authority‘s of WV. Highly recommend it. I now feel confident that my ground floor will be eliminated of me having to empty three dehumidifiers on a regular daily basis. What a relief!

I'd give so many more stars if I possibly could! We were so very pleased with the entire Rescon Basement Solutions experience. Bob came to our house and assessed our basement/bulkhead wall issues. We were involved in any decisions and were given a very honest, complete quote and a scheduled date for the work to be done. Unfortunately, before the scheduled date, we had a very heavy rain and water poured into our basement. Bob from Rescon gave us advice on how to handle that and Alexa was able to move the work date up to help us out of a big jam. Patrick, Jake and Tim arrived promptly to get the work started. They were very professional and explained absolutely everything they were going to be doing. They set up plastic tarps to keep the rest of our basement clean and did a fantastic job. When they completed the work, they went over all of the new equipment and explained everything to us. We were happy with every part of this project. Cannot recommend Rescon enough!!!!
