Basement Authority of West Virginia Partners with Habitat for Humanity

This June, the team at Basement Authority of West Virginia (BAWV) partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Kanawha & Putnam. As part of the companywide Build Together 2024 initiative, seven employees helped build floorplates and floor joists for a home in Charleston that will go to a family in need. Their efforts were featured in the Charleston Gazette-Mail.
BAWV’s parent company, Groundworks, donated $100,000 to support long-term stability through safe and affordable housing. This partnership gives 5,000 employees the chance to volunteer in 63 communities throughout the year.
